We hit our first discoteque in Munich called MPARK and it was SO much fun. Don't ever order anything that is white and floats in a pool of warm water and calls itself meat. I got the meatloaf and it tasted like a square hotdog, which made me a little nervous, but it was better than Carla's beluga whale sausages. It was crazy loud and on one side of our table we had old fart American tourists and the other was a beligerent group of German preteens. Hofbrauhaus was probably one of my favorite things we did just because the environment was so fun. It was freezing cold and snowy, but every night brought something totally different to the table and it couldn't have been a better few days there. It was a lot different than I thought it would be, which I've realized since I've been here is usually a good thing (with the exception of e next post).

Seriously feels like lightyears ago and we've been to Amsterdam and Prague since then, so maybe just the highlights? Sowwy. Hiya! So it's been a hot minute since I've updated this thing, but I'll try my best to take you back a couple weeks to our group trips to Munich and Salzburg (March 12-17).annnd my mind is blank. I'm about to go to class with Laris Gaiser for the next couple hours and then Deb will be here! Yahoooo! I'll try to do a better job at updating soon. We may or may not have snuck three bottles of wine and some peanut M&Ms in also. So four long hours of classical boredom quickly became what-the-heck-is-going-on-because-i-kinda-like-it. The stage was a big record player, their bed was an earpiece from headphones, and everything was kind of punk-rockish. It was such a cool experience! I was expecting some really classical, kinda boring thing, but it was so modern that it almost didn't even feel like Romeo and Juliet.

Last night some of us went to see Romeo e Juliette at the opera house downtown. So, you know it's going to be a great day. It couldn't be more beautiful outside and you can see the Italian Dolomites (the mountains Allison and I still refer to as the Swiss Alps) from our glass elevator better than ever before. I know I haven't told you guys about Amsterdam (maybe for the best) or Prague (which has been my absolute favorite), but I just have to say how excited I am for my mom to get here today.
